We are pleased to be working with a well-established practice who are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Prepare and manage management accounts for various companies across different industries, including legal firms.
  • Handle year-end processing and ad-hoc posting of journals.
  • Perform various reconciliations and prepare personal tax returns.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns and monthly payroll submissions for small to medium companies.
  • Ensure compliance with company and accounting standards.
  • Administer departmental needs and complete daily timesheets for billing.
  • Attend VAT, Payroll, and webinars to comply with annual CPD requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in accounting software including KashFlow, Xero, Sage 50, Sage Cloud, and QuickBooks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
