About the School:Tradewind Secondary is seeking a reliable and experienced School Caretaker to join the dynamic site team at a bustling secondary school in High Wycombe. With a vast campus and over 1000 students, the chosen candidate will enjoy a varied role within a supportive and friendly team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily opening and closing of school facilities.
- Conducting minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Performing cleaning duties as necessary.
- Setting up rooms and equipment for school events and activities.
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.
- Supervising external contractors when required.
Candidate Requirements:
- Solid basic maintenance skills with prior experience in a similar caretaker or facilities management role.
- Strong communication abilities and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a school setting.
Position Details:This is a long-term temporary to permanent role, working alongside a team of three. The successful candidate will be required to work full-time hours from Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility for events outside regular hours.
