We are DEKRA Automotive, we have a unique and exciting opportunity for a Sustainability Inside Sales Representative to join our global business employing over 48,600 employees in more than 60 countries on all five continents!

In the UK, we offer diverse services across automotive, oil and gas, insurance and chemical and process safety industries.

We are now recruiting for Sustainability Business Development Executive that will be responsible for pipeline management for sustainability services, new project nurturing and client discussions related to opportunities.

In addition to this as our Sustainability Business Development Executive you will be responsible for:

  • Proactively investigate and qualify new clients who have expressed an interest in DEKRA's services
  • Produce proposals, handle client presentations, conduct negotiations
  • Convert pipeline to sales revenue
  • Support the Head of Sales and Head to Sustainability to manage global opportunities
  • Record new opportunities, proposals and supporting documents on SalesForce and provide regular updates to the Head of Sales and Head of Sustainability [weekly/monthly/quarterly] on BD initiatives and actives undertaken
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing functions to provide feedback on the effectiveness of pipeline conversion
  • Track KPIs to focus on volume of leads handled, the success rate of lead qualification, and the efficiency of coordinating leads for head of marketing, sales and sustainability

In order to be successful in this role it would be great if you had:

  • Knowledge or experience of consultancy services, preferably in the automotive sector
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical skills, IT literate (Excel, PowerPoint, Word intermediate to high level)
  • Knowledge or experience in sustainability: Interest in areas like corporate sustainability, product sustainability, or sustainable supply chains
  • Preferred background in business development or sales

It would be great if you had:

  • Degree or equivalent
  • Previous use of SalesForce
  • Experience in high-emission sectors (e.g., automotive, transport, industry), finance, or TIC
  • Experience with prospecting/sales tools and AI is a plus (ChatGPT, LinkedIn, Sales Navigator)
