Commercial Sales and Estimating Manager 40 hours per week GBP50,000 - GBP65,000 per annum depending on experience Permanent role Vanta Staffing High Wycombe are recruiting for a Commercial Sales and Estimating Manager for a local family owned independent company. This role is office based in the High Wycombe area. The main responsibilities of the Commercial Sales and Estimating Manager are: 路 Management of the Estimating team including any training requirements for new and existing estimators. 路 Seek new opportunities and clients. 路 Support existing clients to ensure repeat business. 路 Work alongside the marketing department to develop and implement marketing strategies. 路 Build and maintain relationships with suppliers. 路 Undertake sales/estimating site surveys on projects and hand information to the estimators for quoting. 路 Ensure accuracy of quotations and adhere to company pricing structures and margins. 路 Attend pre-contract meetings and undertake any presentations. 路 Manage project pipeline and provide regular comprehensive sales reports to the Commercial Director. 路 Utilise the CRM platform for recording project related information. 路 Consider and develop any future CRM and estimating software packages to be used by the estimating team. 路 Chase through quoted projects and undertake negotiations to help estimators with conversion to orders. 路 Review contract documents to ensure contract particulars reflect the details on the quotation. 路 Undertake project handover meetings to the Operations team. The key requirements of the Commercial Sales and Estimating Manager are: 路 Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. 路 Self-motivated and results driven attitude. 路 Ability to work without supervision. 路 Strong organisational and planning skills. 路 Willingness to travel. 路 Must have experience in the construction industry or similar.
