We are seeking a proactive and experienced Customer Service & Internal Sales Manager to lead our internal sales and customer service teams. This hands-on role is crucial for driving sales growth and delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Day-to-Day of the Role- Manage, mentor, and motivate the internal sales and customer service teams to drive sales growth and achieve performance targets.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills in sales techniques and customer service excellence.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring timely and effective responses to customer inquiries and issues.
- Monitor and review team performance metrics regularly to inform departmental decisions and goals.
- Produce and prepare detailed reports on team performance, sales, and customer satisfaction for senior management.
- Provide regular feedback and coaching to team members, conducting monthly review meetings.
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, technical support, and operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Analyze customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Create and issue quotations, project proposals, and information packs promptly.
- Maintain and update CRM records, ensuring best practices are followed by the team.
- Build and develop customer relationships to increase selling opportunities and instill confidence in our product range.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in internal sales and customer service, with at least 2 years in a managerial/leadership role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (OneDrive, Outlook, Word, Excel) and CRM software.
- Strong leadership, team management, and customer service skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- Understanding of architectural drawings and technical specifications is desirable.
