With an increasing workload and client base, our client, a small but highly respected firm of geotechnical and geo-environmental engineers, is looking to recruit a graduate to join them.
Operating across the UK with the majority of their work being in London and the Home Counties, we are looking for someone local to High Wycombe who is keen to develop their career in this area. They offer chartership mentoring, a competitive starting salary, performance bonus and good benefits.
If you are a bright, motivated and ambitious graduate with a degree in Geology or Earth Sciences this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
Duties include
- Supervising ground investigation contracts and have a knowledge of investigation techniques
- Soil and rock logging
- Producing accurate factual information
- Providing interpretation of both environmental and geotechnical data
Skills/Experience
- Geology or Earth Sciences degree
- Good project management skills
- Able to work well in a team and on your own
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work to deadlines
- Full UK driving license
- Willing to travel and sometimes work away from home (although most projects are commutable from High Wycombe)
