Clinical LeadSalary - £60,000 per annumHours - 37.5Permanent - Full TimeWe are recruiting for enthusiastic and highly skilled Director of Clinical Services/Matron/Team Lead/Clinical Lead to join an inpatient hospital team for adults with eating disorders in High Wycombe.  This is a 14 bedded, specialist eating disorder service for mixed gender adults.  Located just outside High Wycombe, within easy access of the M40, M25, Central London, and the nearby towns of Marlow and Maidenhead.Reporting into the Hospital Director, the Clinical Lead forms part of the hospital Senior Management Team and is wholly responsible for the clinical services operations (nursing and therapy) within the hospital.The post holder will ensure the highest level of patient care is provided to all patients.Your role as the DOC's will be to work closely to support the HD with the running of the Hospital.  You will also oversee the much valued nursing team, with the support of full MDT team including a Ward Manager and Deputy Ward Manager. This role is close to Matron/Team Lead/Clinical Lead within the NHS.The job holder must currently hold a full clean driving licence and have been qualified for 3 years.ResponsibilitiesLeadership:
  • The Clinical Lead play a key part in developing and delivering the hospital strategy, providing operational and clinical leadership to the team.
  • Deputises for Hospital Director in their absence.
  • Overall responsibility for all clinical departments’ performance and governance.
Staff Management:
  • Manages the ward and resources effectively, taking steps to ensure that appropriate staffing levels and skill mix of nursing experience and skills is in place including effective rota management (12 weeks in advance), annual leave/training arrangements and sickness and absence management
  • Reviews staffing on a daily basis, ensuring compliance against the staffing ladders and reviews trends, under or over staffing and puts in place actions to remedy.
