As Senior Internal Communications Manager you`ll be responsible for ensuring colleagues are kept well informed and engaged. You`ll be instrumental in bringing fresh, out of the box thinking to influence our programme of colleague engagement across all sites. You`ll assess whether we have fit-for-purpose platforms and recommend alternatives, best practice and new ways of working. You`ll develop and implement a compelling internal communications strategy and plan and seek approval from the Exec Leadership Team. You`ll be highly visible across the business, collaborating with the Dreams Leadership Team to bring our colleague and company stories to life in a creative and intriguing way through several internal comms channels and events, large scale and local. When it comes to corporate events and project management, you`ll be super organised, proactive and have exceptional planning skills. This role requires you to be a self-starter, interacting confidently with people from all departments and all levels, including the Exec Leadership Team, to clearly communicate all brand and company-wide news on a daily and weekly basis. This is the type of person we`re dreaming of: - Previous experience of working successfully in internal communications across a dispersed colleague base and event management is essential - Experience in leading and delivering internal communications strategies and complex plans - Demonstrable evidence of positively influencing employee engagement - Outstanding verbal, written and spoken communication skills is a must: writing, editing and proofreading skills are essential as well as a journalistic ability to source stories from colleagues - Ability to act with pace in a very fast-paced environment, work well under pressure and to tight deadlines and be adaptable to last minute changes - Meticulous attention to detail and project management and planning skills - Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building skills, including capability of working with Exec level and in getting the best out of our colleagues when filming them for business updates - Familiarity with digital and video means of communication is essential - Ability to think outside the box, use own initiative and comfortable in challenging the status quo - A real energy and passion for people and culture.
