As a Surgical First Assistant, you will:
- Deliver safe, quality care for patients during their perioperative phase.
- Support and assist in managing and organising care within the Operating Department.
- Assist in delivering patient care and contribute to quality improvement.
- Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of yourself and others.
- Apply and promote best evidence-based practice within your scope.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act.
- Assemble, check, and prepare surgical equipment for various procedures.
