Our client, a leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals and clinics, is seeking a Surgical First Assistant to join their team in the Theatre department. This role is based at a prestigious hospital in Great Missenden, known for performing complex surgeries.

As a Surgical First Assistant, you will:

  • Deliver safe, quality care for patients during their perioperative phase.
  • Support and assist in managing and organising care within the Operating Department.
  • Assist in delivering patient care and contribute to quality improvement.
  • Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of yourself and others.
  • Apply and promote best evidence-based practice within your scope.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act.
  • Assemble, check, and prepare surgical equipment for various procedures.
