SEMH Teaching Assistant - High Wycombe

The Role:
  • Supporting students with SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Implementing tailored interventions to support emotional well-being and academic progress
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and external professionals
  • Managing challenging behavior using de-escalation techniques and a trauma-informed approach
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience in SEMH, youth work, outreach, residential care, or as a Teaching Assistant
  • A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach
  • Strong behavior management skills
  • A passion for making a difference in the lives of young people

This is a full-time, permanent position starting in April.
