Your new roleA part-time Administrator position based in High Wycombe within the Learning and Development department, offering flexible hours over 5 days or 3 full days a week. This role is available on a 1-month rolling basis up to 3 or 6 months. Free parking is available, two minutes' walk from the building. As the Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating all internal learning and development events, including advertising, bookings, room arrangements, catering, equipment and preparation of participant information, greeting trainers and issuing post-course evaluation forms.
- Processing applications for funding via internal systems.
- Supporting with training needs analyses following annual reviews, collating responses and arranging training as necessary.
- Acting as first point of contact for Learning & Development queries dealing with enquiries from employees and customers both internal and external to the university.
- Coordinating the induction of new employees, including sending out invites, managing responses including dietary requirements.
- Collaborating with external providers and be the main contact, arranging courses and negotiating costs. Be the contact to meet with providers on training days and ensure setup is correct for the session.
- Managing the Online Learning modules and reporting on mandatory training completions.
- Processing Purchase Orders, quotes, invoices, enquiries and end-year consolidation.
- To produce L&D reports as required to demonstrate the value of L&D to the University.
- To be responsible for the updating of L&D intranet pages, keeping information accurate and relevant.
- To prepare and circulate up-to-date information for employees on L&D activities, including roadmap and calendar of training events on the Intranet, including specific development events.
- To support additional L&D Business projects as and when required.
- Provide support and cover to the HR team when and where necessary. Aiding EDI Business Partner, Organisational Development Business Partner and HR Data Analyst where required.
- To volunteer to support the schools and directorates in direct student activities such as graduation and enrolment duties where possible.
- Support with the creation and launch of e-learning, using software to design and build online learning journeys to support enhancing a learning culture.
What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in applying for the position of Administrator, you will have:
- Good attention to detail
- Previous experience in Administration
- Familiarity with office procedures and systems, including MS Office
- Excellent planning and organisation skills
