Copello have partnered with a leading defence organisation who are looking for a Senior Electronic Engineer on a 6-12 month basis.

The Senior Electronic Engineer will be joining the team to provide expertise within the design & development of new and existing products across a range of categories.

Duties of the role include:

  • Design & Development of electronic subsystems
  • R&D of electronic solutions that could support product development
  • Capturing schematics of Analogue, Digital & RF signal circuits
  • Verification and validation of prototype designs
  • Using C# to develop and deploy software in conjunction with electronic devices and/or test equipment

As the successful Senior Electronic Engineer you will require the following skills/experience:

  • Background of power supply electronics, RF or High Speed Modules modules
  • Knowledge of RF/Antenna Systems inc Phase Array Antennas
  • Working knowledge of interfaces such as SPI or I2C
  • Capturing system level requirements
  • Comfortable working within a project environment
  • Embedded C\C++ and embedded processors
  • GUI Design
  • Object Oriented Design and programming experience
  • JIRA
  • Working to DO-178 standards

Role will require working 4 days at clients site in Buckinghamshire. Candidates will be required to be eligible for SC clearance.

Role is paying circa 65 per hour (inside IR35)
