The position is for an Electrical Engineering Manager to oversee a team on a nuclear defense project in High Wycombe.
This is a permanent, on-site role offering a salary of up to £55,000, with working hours from Monday to Friday.
Candidates must have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering and experience leading a team.
Knowledge of Defence standards, Electrical Authorised Person responsibilities, and a Level 3 qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering is required.
An active or recently lapsed DV clearance is mandatory for this position.

WHAT WILL THE ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING MANAGER BE DOING?

You will be overseeing a team who will be heavily involved in the maintenance, repair and installation of electrical and mechanical systems to a variety of Defence related projects. Other responsibilities will include:

Ensuring compliance to regulations and safety standards
Provide technical guidance to the engineering team
Be able to get 'hands-on' if required
Coordinate with stakeholders to help keep projects on track

WE NEED THE ENGINEER TO HAVE…

Strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering
Experience leading a team of engineers
Understanding of Defence standards such as JSP 375
Knowledge of Electrical Authorised Person responsibilities
Level 3 mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications
An active DV level clearance (or a recently lapsed DV) is required
