They are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of bespoke mechanical systems, ensuring top-notch performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Mechanical Engineer:

  • Lead the design and development of bespoke special purpose machinery, from concept to production.
  • Oversee project teams, providing technical guidance, leadership, and mentorship.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and testing to ensure machinery meets high standards of quality and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their specific requirements and deliver customised solutions.
  • Integrate mechanical designs with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless operation.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to incorporate the latest innovations into designs.
  • Prepare comprehensive design documentation, technical reports, and project plans.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications of the Senior Mechanical Engineer:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong Knowledge of Mechanical Calculations to First Principles 
  • Good knowledge of design, component selection, mechanical stress analysis and experimental methods of determining sound designs.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
  • Proficiency in FEA
  • Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring engineering teams and leading projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
