Electronic Production Engineer

High Wycombe

Electronic Production Engineer required by successful and growing manufacturing company for their site in High Wycombe. The successful Electronic Production Engineer will be responsible for translating customer designs into effective manufacturing processes on the surface mount production line.

Main Duties: Electronic Production Engineer

  • Create clear and concise work instructions for production.
  • Convert Gerber design files into detailed production-ready documentation.
  • Design and build test jigs to support production and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate closely with design engineers to ensure manufacturability.
  • Monitor and oversee production equipment, identifying and resolving issues.
  • Perform fault diagnosis and repair on defective devices down to component level.
  • Operate and maintain surface mount technology (SMT) machinery, including pick-and-place equipment.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Electronic Manufacturing Engineer

  • Proven experience in a similar role within an electronic manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of SMT machinery and programming.
  • Ability to diagnose faults and repair PCBs to component level.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
