Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate and timely accounting records for both internal and external reporting requirements.
- Ensure ERP system accounts and cost control capabilities meet business needs, driving improvements where necessary.
- Produce monthly management accounts, financial forecasts, and cash flow reports.
- Monitor and control product and job profitability while supporting project and business activity costing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with auditors and other statutory bodies.
- Provide regular financial data and insights to the company directors.
- Oversee financial audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Educated to degree level with an accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent experience).
- Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a small team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
- Excellent IT and presentation skills, with proficiency in financial systems and tools.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as a team player.
- Knowledge and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
