Role – Finance Manger
Salary - £50,000-£55,000
Location – High Wycombe (On site)
Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity? I am seeking a skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join a dynamic team and play a key role in their financial operations.
About the Role:
As a Finance Manager, you will oversee all financial activities, ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting, and compliance. You will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and decision-making support, helping to drive the company’s financial success. This company operates in the defence sector, supplying bespoke designs for applications including missiles, drones, fighting vehicles, radar and antenna systems, as well as industrial and commercial test and manufacturing machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the maintenance of accurate and timely accounting records sufficient to comply with internal and external reporting purposes.
- Ensure the accounts and cost control capabilities of our ERP system meet requirements.
- Instigating improvements where necessary to ensure smoother functioning and reliable data for management control.
- Produce monthly management accounts.
- Manage cash flow and financial forecasting.
- Oversee financial audits, ensuring that regulatory requirements are met.
- Support the costing of projects and business activities.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level with an accountancy qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager within Manufacturing or Engineering.
- Attention to detail and an analytical mind.
- Excellent IT and presentation skills.
- Proficient numeracy skills to analyse and interpret financial data.
- Knowledge of budget setting and monitoring.
