Are you a detail-oriented finance professional ready to lead the financial operations of an innovative and globally connected business? Our client, a leader in bespoke slip ring designs for advanced applications such as missiles, drones, radar systems, and industrial machinery, is looking for an accomplished Finance Manager to join their team.

With 60% of the business in the UK and 40% export, this is a unique opportunity to manage finance, accounting, and cost control functions in a highly specialized environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and timely accounting records for both internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Ensure ERP system accounts and cost control capabilities meet business needs, driving improvements where necessary.
  • Produce monthly management accounts, financial forecasts, and cash flow reports.
  • Monitor and control product and job profitability while supporting project and business activity costing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with auditors and other statutory bodies.
  • Provide regular financial data and insights to the company directors.
  • Oversee financial audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
About You:
  • Educated to degree level with an accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent experience).
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a small team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
  • Excellent IT and presentation skills, with proficiency in financial systems and tools.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as a team player.
  • Knowledge and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
