Vanta Staffing High Wycombe are looking for a Forklift Operator (must have a current counterbalance licence) to work in a busy warehouse in Wooburn Green. Permanent GBP26k- GBP28k per annum 7am-4pm Monday to Thursday 7am-1pm Friday Duties of the Forklift Operator:-Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, conducting pre-use checks and reporting any issues. - Manual handling, picking and packing orders. - Stock counting, and dealing with goods-in operations - receive and check incoming deliveries, ensuring quality and accuracy. - Responsible for warehouse maintenance. - Carry out safe and effective manual handling of goods and materials. - Cutting plastic sheets for Vac forming operations. - Complete daily forklift and ladder check sheets, ensuring equipment safety and adherence to regulations. - Support the Warehouse Supervisor in various duties to ensure smooth warehouse operations. Key skills required for the Forklift Operator:路 Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred. 路 Forklift license (Counterbalance and/or Reach) is required. 路 Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfilment. 路 Ability to perform manual handling tasks and lift heavy items safely. 路 Experience in stock counting and inventory control is desirable. 路 Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 路 Good communication skills and a proactive attitude. 路 Understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
