One of the UK’s leading distributors of entertainment lighting, AV and rigging equipment supplying some of the industry’s most sought after brands to the events industry.

About the Role:

As an Export Administrator, you will be responsible for providing essential administrative support to a team of 4 international sales people, taking responsibility for export documentation shipping to over 80 countries. You’ll ensure that orders are processed accurately, manage communication with suppliers and customers and ensure that all export documentation is handled efficiently. Your duties will include:

  • Management of export documentation and handling international shipping processes.
  • Processing sales orders and ensuring all information is correct.
  • Raising purchase orders and quotes on behalf of the sales team.
  • Liaising with suppliers to check lead times on stock.
  • Keeping customers updated on the status of their orders.
  • Answering phone calls, directing inquiries, and taking messages as needed.
  • Booking goods in and despatching orders across IE and EU systems.
  • Maintaining the CRM system to keep customer and order information accurate.
  • Filing new customer account applications and setting up new accounts.
  • Updating outstanding order reports and keeping all relevant parties informed.
  • Processing payments, including credit card links.
  • Raising return authorisations and addressing customer queries.

Experience / Skills Required:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Previous experience within an administration or coordinator position.
  • Good communication skills, capable of liaising with various departments.
  • A proactive attitude with a focus on maintaining high standards and efficiency.

Experience / Skills Preferred:

  • Previous experience managing export documentation.
  • Experience using Streamline or Sage systems.
