TheBids and Proposals Managerwill oversee the full lifecycle of bid management, ensuring the creation and submission of high quality proposals aligned with the companies UK's Business Winning process. This role involves leading dedicated bid teams, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full bid lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, compliant proposals.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, drive collaboration, and streamline bid processes.
  • Analyse customer requirements, organise kick-off meetings, and develop response strategies.
  • Lead proposal reviews, includingShipley colour reviewsand governance approvals.
  • Oversee bid budgets, maintain compliance, and provide reports to senior leadership.
  • Support capture planning and continuous improvement of bid processes.

Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in Business, Commerce, or related field.
  • Proven experience managingcomplex bids and proposals, preferably in defence/naval sectors.
  • Knowledge ofShipley, APMP, and business development processes.
  • Strong writing, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency inMS Office, SharePoint, CRM, and proposal tools.

Preferred:

  • Defence/Naval sector experience.
  • Familiarity withCOTS hardware and systems.
  • Experience leadingmulti-disciplinary bid teams.
