Responsibilities:

As a general cover teacher, you will play a crucial role, supporting students learning in the absence of regular classroom teacher.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering Engaging Lessons:

Creating and delivering lesson plans that cater to students varied learning styles, ensuring an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.

Building Positive Relationships:

Build a positive and supportive rapport with students, colleagues and parents, promoting a collective learning atmosphere.

Adaptability:

Be prepared to cover a variety of subjects and year groups, showing flexibility and versatility in your teaching approach.

Maintaining Classroom Culture:

Manage and maintain an encouraging learning environment, ensuring students stay focused and engaged in the absence of the regular teacher.

Reporting:

Provide timely and accurate feedback on student progress, completing the required documentation and communicating effectively.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS Check
  • QTS or possess equivalent teaching qualifications and experience within an educational setting.
  • Proven experience working within a school environment.
