We are looking for a HR Manager to work for our manufacturing client based in High Wycombe. Working as part of the HR team, you will support managers and employees in the office and based in the field.We are looking for someone who has either worked in a standalone HR Manager role or someone who has managed a small team. Some travel to other offices across the UK is required, however there is support available in other locations so it wouldn't be every week.This is a business that is performing well and has no major fires to fight. This role is to enable the business to move forward and enhance their current HR function. We are looking for someone who can bring ideas and add value to the current team. This role reports into the Managing Director so you would have ultimate responsibility for this department.Main duties to include;
  • Maintain and update all policies and employee documentation
  • Manage the day to day running of the department
  • Management of the HR team
  • Stakeholder management
  • Coach managers on appropriate actions and give guidance sensitive issues
  • Maintain accurate employee records
  • Manage budgets and ensure costs are aligned with company expectations
  • Look to continuously improve employee engagement and retention
We are looking for;
  • CIPD level 5 or above
  • Someone who has worked in a standalone role or managed a small team
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law and recent changes to legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Own transport and open to visiting other offices across the UK
In return you can expect;
  • Salary £45k-£55k - negotiable for the right person
  • Bonus, paid twice a year
  • Core hours are 8.30am-5.30pm, however there may be flexibility for the right person
