Are you a CIPD Level 3/5 qualified HR Generalist available at short notice to start a 12-month FTC to cover maternity? Our client, based in High Wycombe, are a family run, fast growth business that has an approachable and empathetic style, with an "open door" policy and "non corporate" mentality.

Overseeing circa 70 employees, this stand-alone HR role reports to the CEO and has responsibility for day to day operational HR activity across the employee lifecycle, supported by a retained employment lawyer, Expert HR and an HR Consultant in the wings for coaching and development. Alongside BAU, the role also has a series of key projects to deliver over the next 12-months, one being Investors in People accreditation and another key one being implementation of a new HRIS system.

You will oversee one site and two building across Manufacturing, Warehousing, Engineering and Corporate functions and build relationships with all levels of stakeholders from the senior leadership through to operational level.

Key background required:

• Minimum Level 3 CIPD qualified

• Experience in a generalist HR role is required, ideally in a standalone role

• Sound knowledge of HR policies and procedures with ability to implement as required

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels

• Good understanding of HR best practice and how to apply this

• Confident, approachable, calm and discreet

• Proactive, with the ability to use initiative and prioritise own workload

• System/IT proficient, comfortable implementing and using new systems

• Ability to multi-task

• Great attention to detail

• Able to work independently and under pressure
