Hours: Monday – Thursday 8am - 4.30 pm, Friday 8am – 3pm

Our client is a global leader in the development and application of electrically conductive and thermal materials, working within various industries such as automotive, defense and industrial.

The successful Assembly Operative will ideally have previous production or assembly experience within a manufacturing organisation.

This is a varied and challenging position for the successful candidate, which will draw from a broad range of skills including problem solving, multitasking, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities of the Assembly Operative:

  • Re labelling and repackaging of products.
  • Inspects parts to assure conformance to specifications
  • Check product produced by machine for quality.
  • Troubleshoot basic machine problems and quality issues.
  • Prepare all materials that are to be loaded into the machine.
  • Splicing, bonding small parts together
  • Make sure all materials are loaded into the machine in a quick, efficient manner so that downtime is limited.
  • Keep work area clean and free from debris.
  • Clean machine and work area at the end of each shift.

The ideal Assembly Operative:

  • Experience within a production or manufacturing environment is essential
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn new processes and skills
  • The ability to work both individually and as part of a team
  • Good communications skills (both written and verbal)
  • Excellent attention to detail
