Our client, a 40 year old construction supply busineses, is looking for a Plant Mechanic to maitain and repair a range of specialist construction machinery including air compressors, mixing, pump and spraying machinery. This is a workshop based position with minimal travel away from the depot based in High Wycombe. Our client is offering a competitive salary of up to £40,000, a holiday package totalling 28 days and internal and external training.
Successful candidates will repair machinery for their customers and their own hire fleet.
Plant Mechanic Job Overview- Carrying out servicing and repairs to hire fleet machinery.
- Repairing customers own machinery and equipment.
- Assist customers when calling in to our premises for either repairs or advice.
- Working out on site, including deliveries where required.
- Completing all relevant paperwork including safety certification along the way.
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment within your working area.
- 3+ years experience in a similar role servicing vehicles or machinery
- Familiarity in the construction sector
- Ability to diagnose problems with machines and suggest suitable repairs
- Salary: £35,000- £40,000
- Working hours: 8am - 4.30pm (Monday to Friday- 40 hours week)
