Bookings Administrator
We are looking for a Booking Administrator to join our languages team.
The Booking Administrator will be the first point of contact for clients seeking interpreting services and for the interpreters. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operations, including services to be booked, scheduling appointments, requesting interpreter/translator availability, confirming bookings, making amendments as required, and filling short-notice emergency bookings.
Key Duties:
- Process bookings and inquiries efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Schedule appointments for interpreters
- Answer the telephone and be the first point of contact for clients and interpreters
- Provide and maintain excellent customer service
- Manage interpreter/translator availability
- Confirm bookings and make amendments as required
- Fill short-notice emergency bookings
- Perform filing and general office administration tasks
You Must:
- Be a confident, self-motivated individual with a friendly and personable manner
- Be able to multi-task under pressure, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks
- Be a strong verbal and written communicator
- Be confident speaking over the phone with clients and interpreters
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Be highly organised, accurate, and pay great attention to detail
- Be able to work as part of a team, but also independently when required
- Have a flexible and supportive attitude towards your job role and team members

This is a full-time, office-based position with full training provided.
