We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Kitchen Porter/hospitality assistant on an ad hoc basis carrying out temporary assignments with our client, one of the UK's best loved brands with a prestigious history.

A Level 1 Food & Hygiene certificate is a must for this role - we are able to supply the training for this, if you do not currently hold one.

You must be able to work efficiently in a busy retail environment.

The ideal candidate will preferably have some experience working within the catering industry within an entry level role or willing to learn.

You will be assisting within the kitchen areas carrying out duties such as (but not limited to):

  • Emptying bins
  • Keeping counters and work tops clear and clean
  • Food and vegetable prep (including peeling)
  • Collecting crockery, clearing tables
  • Cleaning kitchen areas
  • Wiping tables, chairs and high chairs ensuring the dining areas are ready for the next customer
  • Operating the dishwasher
  • Replenishing crockery, cutlery and condiments
