With an excellent reputation and a strong presence in the Legal 500, this is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role within a progressive and forward-thinking practice.The firm has a well-established client base, including high-net-worth individuals and families, and is looking for a dynamic individual to drive the department's growth and success.The Role:The successful candidate will oversee the Private Client team while managing a high-quality and varied caseload. Responsibilities include:

  • Advising on a full range of Private Client matters, including wills, probate, tax and estate planning, LPAs, trusts, and Court of Protection work.
  • Managing and mentoring junior team members to support their professional development.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and delivering exceptional client service.
  • Driving business development and marketing initiatives to grow the department's client base and profile.
  • Developing strategies to expand the team and contribute to the wider success of the firm.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years PQE in Private Client law, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in leading and growing a team, with strong mentoring and leadership skills.
  • A STEP qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to handle complex Private Client matters.
  • A commercially minded approach, with the ability to generate business and meet targets.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills, with a focus on delivering tailored advice.
