Our client is a highly recognised law firm in High Wycombe, known for providing top-tier legal services. It is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join its esteemed Private Client team.

The team comprises of three experienced Private Client, Wills & Probate fee earners.

The department specialises in:

  • Drafting complex and simple wills
  • Tax planning and related advice
  • Complex estates work
  • Lasting powers of attorney
  • Court of protection work
  • Administration of estates and trusts for high-net-worth individuals

As a Private Client Legal Secretary, you will:

  • Ensure smooth and efficient team operations through general administration
  • Perform dictation and audio typing
  • Complete simple Lasting Powers of Attorney documents
  • Manage diaries, emails, and documents
  • Utilise Microsoft Word proficiently
  • Handle basic accounting administration and invoicing using templates
  • Work with Excel spreadsheets and formulas
  • Utilise PowerPoint (advantageous but not essential)

  • A legal background (preferred)
  • Excellent secretarial and administrative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • High accuracy, organization, approachability, confidentiality, and flexibility
  • Good typing speed
