Our client is a highly recognised law firm in High Wycombe, known for providing top-tier legal services. It is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join its esteemed Private Client team.
The team comprises of three experienced Private Client, Wills & Probate fee earners.
The department specialises in:
- Drafting complex and simple wills
- Tax planning and related advice
- Complex estates work
- Lasting powers of attorney
- Court of protection work
- Administration of estates and trusts for high-net-worth individuals
As a Private Client Legal Secretary, you will:
- Ensure smooth and efficient team operations through general administration
- Perform dictation and audio typing
- Complete simple Lasting Powers of Attorney documents
- Manage diaries, emails, and documents
- Utilise Microsoft Word proficiently
- Handle basic accounting administration and invoicing using templates
- Work with Excel spreadsheets and formulas
- Utilise PowerPoint (advantageous but not essential)
What They’re Looking For:
- A legal background (preferred)
- Excellent secretarial and administrative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High accuracy, organization, approachability, confidentiality, and flexibility
- Good typing speed
