Key Responsibilities:- Support the implementation of procurement strategies defined by the Head of Department.
- Forecast and manage stock orders to meet business demands.
- Assist in the implementation and optimisation of planning software.
- Support in contract lifecycle management, including drafting, negotiation, and execution.
- Help identify and implement best-value purchasing opportunities within assigned categories.
- Collaborate with suppliers to enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of goods and services delivery.
- Support the tendering process, including document preparation, bid evaluation, and contract awards.
- Conduct regular supplier and contract reviews in line with strategic goals.
- Experience with a background in supply chain or procurement (manufacturing experience is a plus).
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders and suppliers at all levels.
- Analytical skills, with the ability to assess data, market trends, and risks.
- Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and compliance in contracts and audits.
- Adaptable, eager to learn, and ready to support changing priorities.
- Organised, able to prioritise effectively, and thrive under pressure.
- Skilled at building rapport and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
