Our client, a growing and dynamic business, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead a fast-paced warehouse operation. This role requires a strong mix of leadership and hands-on management—balancing efficiency, quality control, and team motivation. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to foster a high-performing workplace culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and train a warehouse team, ensuring performance targets are met.
  • Oversee the preparation of customer orders, maintaining high accuracy and quality.
  • Control stock levels, conduct stocktakes, and manage date-checking procedures.
  • Plan and manage rotas to optimise workflow and minimise overtime.
  • Maintain health and safety standards in line with legal requirements.
  • Foster a high-performance culture while supporting and motivating the team.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Warehouse management or supervisory experience (minimum 2 years).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using technology for stock and warehouse management.
  • A proactive and positive approach.
  • Forklift licence (preferred but not essential).
  • IOSH or similar Health & Safety certification (advantageous).
