My client based in High Wycombe is looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor.

Ideally you will possess a proven track record in Warehousing/Logistics.

The role is based on site Mon-Fri working 13:00-22:00 (40 hour week).

About The Role

  • Supervise and assist with picking, packing, and dispatching orders ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment.
  • Supervise, train and motivate a team of approx. 15 warehouse operatives ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety and operating procedures.
  • Ensure the safe and effective use of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet trucks.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the Warehouse Manager on performance metrics, challenges, and daily progress.
  • Lead the team through effective collaboration, clear communication, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure all courier and third party shipments are processed accurately and within internal deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimise workflow, resolve any issues that may arise and ensure the Warehouse are 'passing the baton' effectively.
  • Daily load sheet and consignment reconciliation, ensuring all orders and consignments have been correctly accounted for.
  • Ensure all vehicles are loaded within shift deadlines ensuring full compliance to all statutory load safety requirements.
  • Naturally inquisitive with a passion for Continuous Improvement and identifying opportunities to drive efficiencies and optimisations within the operation.

About you

To be considered for this role, we ask that you hold all of the below skills and experience;

  • High energy individual with exceptional motivating skills.
  • Proactive individual and able to work on own initiative.
  • Previous Warehouse role at Supervisor level essential.
  • Process driven and comfortable working with clearly defined procedures.
  • FLT License advantageous.
  • IT literacy - Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) would be beneficial, particularly Sage 200.
