Clearfield Recruitment have partnered witha leading company in the construction industry, known for delivering high-quality projects across a range of sectors. Theyare seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a key project in High Wycombe.

Project Overview:
The project involves the demolition of a single-storey car park, the installation of steelwork supports and permanent barriers, and the construction of concrete upstandwalls, among other works. This is a high-profile project that will run until at least April 2025, with a strong possibility of a permanent position thereafter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all site activities to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Oversee the installation of steelwork supports, permanent barriers, and other construction elements.
  • Monitor progress and report regularly to the Contracts Manager.
  • Handle site logistics, resource allocation, and scheduling to ensure timely completion.
  • Liaise with clients, engineers, and external stakeholders as required.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs and progress reports.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction projects, preferably involving demolition, steelwork, and concrete structures.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Competent in managing site logistics and maintaining accurate records.
