We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Amazon Business Account Executive to join our client's team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximising sales and margins for our customised products tailored to meet the unique branding needs of other retailers. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong capabilities in new business development, commercial negotiations, account management, and proficiency in inventory, pricing, and promotion management on the Amazon platform. The successful candidate should possess a background in the consumer goods sector and be well-versed in Amazon ads setup, analytics, and numerical skills.

  • Full Time, High Wycombe preferably or Ladbroke Grove (Hybrid 2 days in office, Tue/Wed)
  • Must have Amazon vendor management ecommerce experience
  • £35k plus benefits

Duties include

  • Account Management: independently lead New Product Development (NPD) introduction process, creating best-in-class launch materials, trade story, packaging, pack structure, imagery, claims, shave tests etc., based on the annual business cycle.
  • Foster strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling. Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
  • Coordinate and work with factory engineering to develop and implement new packaging options, structures, and art for cost efficiency.
  • Commercial Negotiations: negotiate contracts and terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Collaborate with internal teams to align offerings with client needs and expectations.
  • Inventory, Pricing, and Promotion Management: strategically manage inventory levels to meet client demands and minimize excess stock. Implement effective pricing strategies to drive sales and maximize profitability. Develop and execute promotional campaigns in collaboration with regional sales.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: support regional sales teams in the execution of the sales plan strategies and day by day requests (product availability, feasibility of product/ packages, artwork's development etc.); support and implement all commercial innovation initiatives for the region.
  • Analytics and Numerical Skills: Analyse sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges. Provide regular reports on key performance metrics and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with internal teams, including Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of customized product solutions.

Skills/Experience

  • Background in Amazon eCommerce or private label specific business with leading retailers (grocery, fast fashion, beauty)
  • Entrepreneur/ intrapreneur, self-driven business developer, strong relationship builder, presenter and influencer; able to work cross functionally to drive the end results
  • Commercial know-how, strong analytical skills, understands both internal sales force and customer/ shopper needs and work to create added value for both - able to optimize against relevant KPIs and commercial goals
  • Extensive exposure to multi-country product launches / projects
  • Experience in project management and in dealing with external partners/ suppliers
  • Packaging (ART) and pack structure development
  • Aptitude to learn fast, to absorb and integrate new facts and methodologies
