Service Engineer – Industrial pneumatic systems

Circa £30k  

Monday to Friday, 40hour week, days

Vanta Staffing are the exclusive staffing partner to a company who design & build pneumatic systems & solutions into their clients, FMCG, Automotive & pharmaceutical industries.  

Now looking to bolster their installations & maintenance team with an experienced all round Service Technician

Duties of the successful Service Engineer will include:

• Visit company premises to carry out planned or reactive maintenance on their compressed air system  
• Carry out installation projects for pumps, vacuum & compressed air
• Repair or replace where needed 
• To contribute to the health and safety of the site
• Monitor, order & control stock
• Ensure that ALL SOP’s meet health and safety requirements
• Typical hours, Monday to Friday, 40hour week (days, some flexibility)

The Successful Service Technician will enjoy;

Required experience & characteristics of the Service Technician

• Proven experience repairing & maintaining compressed air systems
• Relevant qualification a distinct advantage
• Must have a valid driving licence
• Mechanical, pneumatic or electrical engineering-based qualification a distinct advantage
• Good communication capability
• Experience of working with manufacturing environments
• Highly focused on quality, safety and managing the working environment.
• Strong command of the English Language
• Enthusiastic, polite & professional character
