Our client has been established for over 30 years, providing a wide variety of specialist services to the pumping industry and domestic users.
As a Pump Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and services to clients in industrial, domestic and commercial settings.
key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of pump stations, treatment plants and booster sets.
- Performing diagnostics and troubleshooting on pump systems and related equipment.
- Installing and commissioning new pump systems.
- Attendind emergency call outs to resolve ongoing issues with pump systems .
- Filling out reports and documentation.
Qualifications and Requirements:
They will provide a high level of training for this role. We are willing to employ both experienced or inexperienced workers in our field, as we have a track record of training people from many different working backgrounds to become excellent pump engineers. However to be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications and requirements:
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
- A good work ethic and willingness to get stuck in.
- A good ability to learn quickly from others while on the job.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work and think independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- An ability to think on your feet and good problem solving skills.
- An understanding of electrics or mechanical skills is also a bonus.
