Service Technician – Builders merchants
Circa £34k
Monday to Friday, 40hour week, days
Vanta Staffing are the exclusive staffing partner to an amazing buidlers merchants who provide a complete one stop shop for their commercial customers.
Now looking to bolster their maintenance team with an experienced all round Service Technician
Duties of the successful Service Technician will include:
- Carry out quality checks on inbound & out bound machines & equipment
- Provide fault diagnostic on electrical, hydraulic, mechanical & pneumatic systems
- Repair or replace where neded
- Ensure that planned maintenance initiatives are carried out effectively
- To contribute to the health and safety of the site
- Monitor, order & control stock
- Ensure that ALL SOP’s meet health and safety requirements
- Typical hours, Monday to Friday, 40hour week (days, some flexibility)

The Successful Service Technician will enjoy;
- Circa £34k
Required experience & characteristics of the Service Technician
- Proven experience repairing & maintaining construction equipment (paint sprayers, screed sprayers, generators)
- Experienced in successfully completing multi-skilled repairs in mechanical and / or electrical/electronic engineering environments.
- Mechanical, pneumatic or electrical engineering-based qualification a distinct advantage
- Good communication capability
- Experience of working with manufacturing environments
- Highly focused on quality, safety and managing the working environment.
- Strong command of the English Language
- Enthusiastic, polite & professional character
