Electronics Technician

Permanent Staff | High Wycombe

The Company

A leading global engineering company who specialise in the design and manufacture of special purpose machinery used in a wide range of industries.

The Role

This is a position that will be responsbile for the assembly and test of transducers ensuring they meet the required performance and quality levels with additional responsibility for aiding the improvement of processes for the assembly and test of further products as directed by the Team leader.

The work will include the following:

  • Correct assembly and testing of associated test load string and test fixtures and jigs.
  • Fault diagnosis of units under test.
  • Working from engineering drawings
  • Inspection and Packing of Customer Orders in accordance with current procedures
  • Assembly and test of Transducers as directed by the Team leader

The Candidate

To apply for this role, you must have

1. Electronic testing and fault diagnosis to component level.

2. An Electro-mechanical / Electronic Wiring background.

3. Experience with electro- mechanical and / or electronic assemblies (computers, electrical / electronic consumer goods. Experience form military, avionics and / or electronics industries.

4. Experience with assembly and disassembly of electro-mechanical componentry and or fine wiring

5. Strong soldering skills.
