Lighting Technician - Product Demonstration Specialist

Location: High Wycombe

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE) + Bonus (up to £5k OTE)

The Role

We're looking for a skilled Lighting Technician to manage and maintain the product demonstration room, showcasing state-of-the-art lighting products to clients and providing assistance to the warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and prepare demo equipment for client meetings and trade shows (lighting, video, audio, and rigging).
  • Set up, operation and programming of lighting equipment for product demonstrations.
  • Conduct basic repairs, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Test equipment and coordinate repairs with technical teams.
  • Set up and operate the demo facility for weekly events, product demos, and training days.
  • Handle general warehouse duties and assist with stock control.
  • Operate equipment at trade shows (up to 4 times per year).
  • Forklift operation (training provided).
Key Skills & Experience Required:
  • Knowledge of lighting systems, including LEDs, networks, and moving lights.
  • Hands-on experience in events, theatre, or lighting rental environments.
  • Proficiency with lighting control systems, including Avolites, Chroma Q, and Vista 9.
  • Lighting programming experience is essential.
  • Experience using an articulated forklift is a bonus but not essential.
  • Clean driving licence required.
