The role will require the following responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students.
- Contribute to the development of the school’s curriculum, ensuring it is broad, balanced, and meets the needs of all learners.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and any incidents, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with school policies.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Identify and support students with special educational needs (SEN) or those requiring additional help, working closely with the SENCO and other specialists.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support students’ educational development.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
- Has a clear and valid DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
- A commitment to the welfare and safeguarding of children.
