- Perform dimensional and visual inspections of products to ensure adherence to detailed technical drawings and specifications.
- Conduct first-off, last-off, patrol inspections, as well as incoming material and final inspection checks.
- Ensure quality check procedures are consistently followed throughout production stages.
- Quarantine, log, and report non-conforming products promptly.
- Review and verify Certificates of Conformity.
- Maintain accurate manufacturing records, ensuring traceability and documentation of quality issues.
- Participate in improvement projects and suggest production enhancements.
- Coordinate with other inspectors to ensure seamless quality assurance processes.
- Address customer feedback and resolve complaints effectively.
- Test materials from suppliers to verify quality standards.
- Proficiency in both visual and dimensional inspection.
- Ability to perform dimensional checks in both metric and imperial units using manual measuring tools (e.g., calipers, height gauges).
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience in raising First Article Reports.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and collaborate with CAD engineers for customer model data interpretation.
- Previous experience and certification in inspection under an AS9100 RevD / EASA Part 21-G or equivalent quality systems is highly desirable.
- Willingness to evolve and adapt to business needs.
- Competence in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
