Looking for Senior Quality Technician

Join our client, a global leader in the food industry, as a Senior Quality Control Technician! As part of their dynamic and innovative team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high quality and safety of their flavourings, extracts, and essences that drive brand innovation and delight consumers worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently carry out all quality control tasks, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.
  • Conduct thorough testing of ingredients and finished products, making optimal use of resources.
  • Organise and perform organoleptic testing to ensure flavour quality.
  • Release ingredients and finished products once they meet all quality and food safety criteria.
  • Record and store test results, additional data, and comments for easy reference.
  • Collaborate with relevant parties to address non-conforming products and implement necessary corrective actions.
  • Assist in customer complaint investigations and propose improvements in equipment and evaluation processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the role of quality in the food industry.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective team player with strong communication skills.
  • Previous experience in the flavour industry and knowledge of internal IT/LIMS database systems is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with the food industry, particularly in a quality role, is advantageous.
  • Driving licence required for this role.
