In this position you will have extensive contact with suppliers, distributors as well as with kitchen construction design teams Duties:Supplier liaison
- Engaging with existing equipment suppliers
- Souring new suppliers and negotiating warranty issues
- New supplier relationship development
- Checking energy consumption
- Managing equipment costs , availability , quality and compliance
Reporting
- Produce analytical reports to support purchasing decisions in this category
- Liaising with design teams regarding project plans, installation times and deadlines
Re-purposing and NPD
- Re-purposing existing equipment in order to keep costs low
- New product development
- Managing equipment spec changes
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with sourcing Catering equipment is essential
