About the opportunity:
We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. In this role, you will:
- Provide commercial leadership and strategic guidance to ensure projects are delivered cost-effectively and within budget.
- Prepare, analyse, and present detailed cost reports, providing regular updates to the project team and stakeholders.
- Implement effective cost control measures and value management strategies to optimize project value.
- Prepare monthly forecasts, Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reports, and Profit & Loss statements to track financial performance.
- Oversee and manage the commercial aspects of construction projects, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Ensure effective cash flow management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Administer subcontractor payments, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and accurate processing.
- Offer expert advice on contractual matters, providing solutions to resolve potential disputes and mitigate risks.
About the benefits and rewards:
The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to 75k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits.
About the requirements:
- Degree preferred.
- Wide experience in the discipline within the house building industry.
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
- Experience of COINS is preferred.
- Current CSCS card or equivalent is desirable
