Senior Recruitment Consultant

If so then our position may be the one for you. We are expanding our team and looking for someone who wants to provide an exceptional service to both candidate and client, someone who sees our role as a genuine recruitment partner.

Now in our 17th year, we are an established specialist recruitment consultancy focussed on the Mortgage and Consumer Lending sector and are seeking an experienced consultant to join our small team in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, on a full time basis. We are a small business, so you will get involved with everything that the business does beyond your usual responsibilities; from contributing to strategy and acting as IT helpdesk to marketing input and database management. In a small business, we do everything. That said, your primary responsibility will be in account managing existing clients, getting the most out of all relationships and finding candidates for their roles, from entry level to senior managers.

Responsibilities include:

- Sourcing, interviewing and selecting candidates, matching of candidates skills with vacancy requirements

- Account Managing clients, adding value beyond just introducing candidates

- Building on existing relationships, whether current or in the past, to get the most out of all client partnerships

- Proactively looking at ways to source new candidates

- Answering incoming calls in a professional manner, providing excellent customer services

- Managing candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a true consultative service

- Any other ad hoc administrative duties

The successful candidate will be an experienced consultant with a track record of sustained success who has good knowledge of the financial services sector, you will be expected to ensure a best in class recruitment service. You could live anywhere in the UK so long as you can realistically get to the High Wycombe office at least once a week, ideally Wednesday or Thursday.

The current closing date for applications is Mon 17th February.

The first interview will be a video call with one of the Directors, followed by a more in depth competency based interview on a face to face basis which will include a recruitment exercise. You will also have a chance to meet the team.
