Our client, based in Wooburn Green, is looking for an Accounts Manager to join the team. This is a part time position, working 16 hours per week.

Main Duties are:

  • Maintaining the basic bookkeeping functions of 3 organisations
  • Liaising with theiraccountants
  • Assisting associates with their invoicing where instructed
  • Responding in a timely fashion to emails or phone calls from staff
  • Responding to queries where instructed
  • Responding to queries about bank payments in a timely fashion
  • Collecting and collating any paper invoices
  • Actively seeking invoices to reconcile bank statements
  • Management of accounts on Xero
  • Invoicing solicitors
  • Chasing debt and developing systems to automate this
  • Issuing proceedings in the small claims court where appropriate
  • Data Protection
  • Dealing with complaints where appropriate

Person Specification

  • Team player
  • Proven work experience
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Google calendar/drive.
  • Profiency in Xero (desirable)
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be calm, helpful, resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
