Orka Financial is working with a technology focused business that is are growing rapidly. Due to this growth they are looking to add a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to their finance team. The business is based in High Wycombe where they operate 4 days a week in the office with the ability to work 1 from home.Role responsibilities

  • Work with the line manager in an entrepreneurial fast-moving environment to support closing and managing projects
  • Manage staff expenses ensuring they are approved and coded correctly
  • Assisting with Month-end processes
  • Processing Purchase orders and supplier invoices
  • Prepare payment runs and maintain accurate bank reconciliations
  • Support in sales Ledger across the group, ensuring effective credit collections
  • Assisting with Year-End closure and Audit
  • Ad hoc duties

Key Skills:

  • Experience of an accounting function in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Ability to work across multiple tasks at the same time liaising with multiple departments.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and be able to work as part of a cross-functional team
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  • AAT Level 2

Salary:£30,000 - £35,000 + benefits
