Salary: MPS/UPS £33,075 - £50,471 (inclusive of Fringe allowance) plus TLR 2B
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day leadership for the development and management of the Design Technology department.
- Identify areas for development and improvement linked to the Academy improvement plan, SEF, national and local initiatives.
- Develop and monitor schemes of work for Design Technology across the academy, ensuring successful implementation that meets curriculum requirements and is differentiated to reflect student needs.
- Oversee and contribute to the planning and delivery of continuous professional development and training related to Design Technology.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in delivering outstanding teaching and learning in Design Technology.
- Proven successful mentoring/coaching of colleagues.
- Ability to plan, prepare, and deliver a curriculum relevant to the age and ability of the groups.
